OMAHA, NE – 21 Apr, 2017 – The Rajiv Gandhi School of Intellectual Property Law (RGSOIPL) was recently bestowed with the honor of being named first in the Ranking of Top Leading Law Schools of Super Excellence from the GHRDC Times (Global Human Resource Development Centre Pvt. Ltd.) Annual Survey Report. The GHRDC group measures the best hotel management, law, and architecture in India.
The ranking that RGSOIPL earned was based upon “Infrastructure (Physical and Academic)”, “Faculty, Publication, Research, Consultancy, Training, and Other Programmes”, “Admission, Curriculum, and Delivery System”, and “Placement (Domestic and International), USP, Social Responsibility, Networking, and Industry Interface”.
RGSOIPL was established in 2006 by distinguished alum and life time fellow, Vinod Gupta (B. Tech., 1967), the former CEO and Chairman of InfoGROUP (previously known as InfoUSA) and is the first of its kind law school to impart legal education with an IP specialization within the IIT system. Encompassing all different areas of law in the program, students can find themselves in academia, in the court room, or working within industry positions. The combination of coursework in science, technology, management, and law produces a unique skillset for its graduates that serves them well in their future endeavors.
According to Mr. Vinod Gupta, credit goes to Professor Shishir Dube, Mr. Vinod Sobti, Mr. Kalyan Chakravarti, Mr. Vibhute Khushal, current IITKGP Director PP Chakrabarti, Susan Karamanian, and the entire staff for making this law school number one in India!
