LONDON, UK – 5 Aug, 2017 – thesqua.re would like to extend a warm welcome Dynshaw Italia, who will be joining the team in August, 2017. Dynshaw is highly experienced in working and developing consumer brands across and will become thesqua.re’s CFO.
Dynshaw Italia has broad management and board experience covering a number of roles: including Chief Operating Officer, Chief Financial Officer, Head of HR, Head of IT and Head of Operations.
Throughout his career, Dynshaw has experienced tremendous success, most notably at Lebara, Cobra Brand and ebookers.
At eBookers, Dynshaw was the fifth employee of the company when it was opened in June 1999. Dynshaw helped establish the company’s operations in 11 European countries as ebookers went on to become Europe’s largest online travel agency. Dynshaw was responsible for ebookers’ business model and financial management.
During 2002-2010, Dynshaw was responsible for Finance, IT & HR functions at Cobra Brand. Dynshaw was appointed Chief Operating Officer in June 2004. Dynshaw raised over £50m to fund the growth of the business in the UK and in India throughout his time at Cobra. Furthermore, Dynshaw helped raise over £20m of working capital facilities including bank overdrafts, factoring, invoice discounting facilities.
As Chief Operating officer, Dynshaw helped overhaul the total supply manufacturing and production platform, making the process more flexible whilst catering to future growth.
At Cobra, in 2010, Dynshaw took a place on the board as a non executive director for the Cobra Beer Partnership. Dynshaw assisted with the joint venture between Cobra Beer and Molson Coors UK (the owner of the UK’s best selling lager brand Carling). Additionally, Dynshaw helped establish Cobra beer as a household brand in the United Kingdom whilst creating a manufacturing and distribution footprint in India. Today, Cobra Beer is one of the fastest growing beer brands in the UK and is exported to over 45 countries.
At Lebara, Dynshaw helped the brand become the universal voice for the world’s migrant community, helping unite people across borders, generations and cultures. During Dynshaw’s two year stint at Lebara, he was responsible for financial accounting, budgets, auditing, commercial finance, procurement, tax and internal audits, overseeing a financial team of 102 people.
Since 2006, Dynshaw has been a board director and charter member for The Indus Entrepreneurs (TiE) and is now involved with mentoring various businesses. The organisation currently has more than 11,000 Regular Members and over 2,500 Charter Members in 53 branches across 12 countries.
