Historical evolution
In 1991, Sinopec established the recycling system of precious metals. Sinopec materials and equipment company and Sinopec Research Institute of Petroleum Processing jointly set up a recycling mechanism.
In 1997, SINOPEC implemented precious metal resources management and oriented by market mode. Set up Sinopec materials and equipment company – Sinopec material and equipment precious metals limited which is responsible for precious metals supply management and precious metals recycling technology promotion.
2005, the resource integration of the original petrochemical material and equipment Chancellor Precious Metals Limited to change for the China Petrochemical Company catalyst precious metals branch.
In November 8, 2013, Sinopec specialized restructuring, precious metals company changed its name to China petrochemical catalyst Co., Ltd. precious metals division.

Lease term: From receiving the first batch of precious metals to the end of recycling & processing precious metal.
Rental fee: Funds occupancy costs and loss costs (production, use, recycling), management fees (insurance premium, escort fee, analysis laboratory fees, warehouse custodial fees, taxes payable, recycling and processing fees.
Rental period: From 1 to 12 months，to meet the needs of replacement the old precious metal products or catalyst contained precious metal to the new one.
Spot trading of precious metals:
