Yilong was born on April 16, 1988 in Wuhan, Hubei Province who is a male actor in mainland China. He graduated from the Beijing Film Academy with a bachelor’s degree in performance in 2006.

Zhu then starred in another adaptation of Gu Long’s novel, this time playing the protagonist in Border Town Prodigal. Again, he received positive reviews for his performance and rose in popularity.
In 2017, Zhu starred alongside Ady An in the romantic comedy drama Royal Sister Returns. The same year, he starred alongside Aaron Kwok and Zhao Liying in the spy thriller film Eternal Wave.
In 2018, Zhu starred alongside Bai Yu in the fantasy web drama Guardian, where he played three roles. Following the series, Zhu had a surge in popularity and won the Popular Actor award at the 2018 Weibo Night.
Among his upcoming projects in 2018 are period drama The Story of Ming Lan and romance melodrama Granting You a Dreamlike Life. He was also cast in the modern drama My True Friend as an aspiring designer.
