I live in a home with limited sunlight and space. Grow lights are my only option if I want to keep my abundant plant life alive and happy. I decided to purchase 30 SANSI Grow Lights on Amazon. I have most of them installed and my plants are healthy and green.
As an amateur indoor gardener, I think it’s wise to be picky about the grow lights you want to use in your home. For me, I entertain family, friends, and guests regularly and I need my light to produce a nice color while understanding on my end that I also need a color spectrum suitable for healthy growth. I also need a light bulb and not a fixture that requires mounting and additional wiring. When my light bulbs are turned off, I think it’s important that the bulb is aesthetically pleasing to its environment. I chose the SANSI Ceramic LED Grow Light Bulb for the reasons mentioned above.
The SANSI Ceramic LED Grow Light Bulb comes in 15, 30, and 40-watt options. These 3 bulbs emit a whitish glow with a hint of warm and are all considered full-cycle bulbs suitable for both vegetation and flowering stages. Each bulb has an evenly distributed spectrum of blue (19.46%), green (37.70%), red (36.23), and far red (6.61%) with a µmol/s rating of 20, 67, and 98 respectively.
Ceramic LEDs vs. Aluminum LEDs
I’m well aware of the technology behind the SANSI LED plant growth light and I believe its valuable information for the average indoor gardener to know. LEDs produce a lot of heat. How well this heat is transferred away from the bulb determines the quality of the bulb. 99.9% of all LEDs are mounted on aluminum. I’m 99.9% sure that SANSI is the only manufacturer that is mounting its LEDs directly onto ceramic instead of aluminum using what they call Independent Pixel Heat Sink® Technology in which each LED light pixel is its own heat sink which increases its energy savings potential.
Why is this important?
Ceramic dissipates heat more efficiently than aluminum because it is non-conducive. This allows SANSI’s LED chips to be mounted directly to ceramic; making each chip free of internal fans, housing, adhesives, and PC boards. Ceramic LED modules have fewer parts than conventional LEDs, and therefore conduct less heat and generate more savings.
The reason why I entertain SANSI’s grow lights so much is that they’re beautiful looking bulbs, they make my plants happy and they’re reasonably priced on Amazon. I personally recommend the 15-watt grow light bulb when first introducing SANSI to friends and family who want to get started with 1 or 2 small plants. The premium 30w and 40w grow light are on sale with the 20% off Code: LIKEASUN, effective until 2018.10.31.
